The importance of being mathematically competent in today’s competitive world can not be
exaggerated. A young person leaving school without a minimum of GCSE Grade C in Maths is
at a serious disadvantage in the job market and in Further Education.
Very often a child starts to fall behind at Primary School and this has a knock-on effect when
